Allison Estes

Allison Estes grew up playing on Faulkner's grave. Really! She has written numerous titles for children and adults. Her latest book is Izzy & Oscar (Sourcebooks/Jabberwocky April 2015.) She teaches writing classes and workshops in various venues, through the New York Writers Workshop in New York and the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council in Oxford, Mississippi. Allison loves kids, dogs and horses, so she has some of each. When she is not busy working or soccer momming, and the grave of a famous author is not available, she is probably either writing or reading a book.
